Rainbow Dental Laboratories, Inc. is a family owned and operated dental restorations laboratory located in Burlingame, California. For over 30 years, Rainbow has provided aesthetically superior fixed and removable dental restorations to our family of Bay Area dentists. Our industry leading specialists work day in and day out, applying their wealth of knowledge and experience, to ensure that every case that enters our facility is guided through the manufacturing process with exceptional precision and care. From PFM’s to full zirconia crowns, implants to complex partial dentures, our lab is prepared to assist your dental practice in creating long lasting and fulfilling dental restorations for your patients.

Our Team
Abraham Panossian
CDT, Co-Owner
Abraham has been involved in the dental restorations industry for over 30 years. He became a Certified Dental Technician in 1985 and shortly after, he founded Rainbow Dental Lab in 1988 and has been leading the company ever since. Throughout the years, Abraham has built a network of dental restorations professionals that has lead to consistent growth of our laboratory and Bay Area technicians’ desire to join the Rainbow team. When doctors call our offices with questions on case adjustments or preferences, Abraham is always standing by to personally assist in any way he can. Much like the restorations specialists that work on patient cases, Abraham is ready to form both personal and professional relationships with your dental practice.
Andre Panossian
CDT, Co-Owner
Andre is Co-Owner and Head of Technicians in both the esthetic and ceramic departments. With over 25 years of experience in all types of fixed restorations, Andre brings a vast amount of knowledge to our lab and attends numerous continual educational courses in dental technology all over the country. As a result, Andre ensures that our lab always uses the cutting edge in dental restoration technology in order to provide the best products on the market. When a doctor has any questions related to a case, Andre is ready to answer the call and is known across the industry for possessing exceptional personal and troubleshooting skills.
Vatche Makasdjian
Co-Owner, Director of Implant Restorations
Vatche is the industry’s leading technician in the field of implants. In his 30 years of implant experience, he has been featured in several publications and has administered a variety of study groups in which he showcases the newest and most innovative implant techniques. Over the years, Vatche has maintained close relationships with the most experienced and well renowned general practitioners, surgeons and prosthodontists. By maintaining this network, Vatche enables our lab to be in touch with prevailing implant related trends that leading oral surgeons expect from their restorations manufacturers.
Aung Thinn
CDT, Removable Specialist
Aung graduated with a BS in Zoology in 1972 from Arts and Sciences University in Rangoon, Burma. In 1974, he received a diploma in Dental Technology from the Rangoon Institute of Dental Medicine. Aung has instructed courses at the Institute of Dental Medicine in Yangon, Burma and shortly after, immigrated to the United States in 1994. He has since earned his CDT in 2001 and joined the Rainbow team in 2016. Aung brings 45 years of experience in removables to our laboratory and is renowned nationally for contributing excellent work to the removable restorations industry.
Marcel Kapulica
CDT, Frame Design Specialist
Marcel graduated from drafting school in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1957. When he came to the United States he began his career at Pacific Dental Lab and later graduated from the SFCC Dental Technology Program. Marcel opened and headed Empire Dental Laboratory from 1961 up until 1988 and throughout those years gained recognition across the nation for being a pioneer of the removable restorations industry and to this day is considered one of the best frame design specialists in the industry. Marcel brings over 50 years of experience and knowledge to our laboratory and is your go-to for removable designs.
Serouge Panossian
Director of Marketing and Acquisitions
Serouge is a recent graduate of New York University with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Business. He brings over 3 years of marketing experience to Rainbow that spans the industries of finance, law and manufacturing. Throughout his career, Serouge has focused primarily on building strong, personal relationships with clients in order to ensure that new company developments are conveyed in a timely and efficient manner. Your practice can expect Serouge to always be available for one-on-one meetings both over the phone and in person to discuss anything from innovative new products to patient satisfaction.
Houri Panossian
Director of Operations
Houri is our Director of Operations and handles everything from front office administration to accounting. She has over 20 years of administration and operations experience and has been a cornerstone of Rainbow’s success ever since she joined our team in 2003. Whenever you call into our offices with a variety of questions or concerns, Houri is prepared to assist in any way possible and always finds solutions or directs you to the correct parties that can help you further. Her forward thinking attitude, as well as her calm and composed demeanor make her an incredibly pleasant point of contact between your dental practice and our lab.
